Well, hello there DevART. Long time no see.

My art skillz kinda went down the crapper after being unused for so long (big surprise). I've being trying to draw more on and off. I may or may not have some new art to post eventually. Depends on how bad I procrastinate on my homework. >> Mostly what I have managed to draw has been Hetalia, Starfighter, or HoneySyn. Fandom is the only thing that encourages me to draw anymore. I'd say it's sad and pathetic, but I'm actually pretty okay with it. S'not like I ever drew very much original stuff anyway. : P

I do have some cosplay photos to post on here from Kcon 09. This journal is more of a reminder to myself to post them. Later. When I have time. Cosplay has become my number one hobby, no question, but I do want to bring my art back, at least a little bit. Benji comic is still my far off goal. Here's hoping.

Hashi will be back in Oregon by December~, and once I get money I can start on all the epic new cosplays we have planned~!

Funny thing happend yesterday. By now everyone's heard about the Swin Flu. Apparently, yesterday morning there was a report on the news that a case had been found at Western Oregon University. Then at the beginning of second period, we all got info packets from the school district on what it is and how we should stay home if we start feeling sick.

The irony: during first period my throat started hurting like I had strep throat, and by the middle of second I was achy all over and felt like I had a fever. So I left class and went to the apartment (because my sick-fuddled brain decided I should go there instead of the health center), called my Dad, and went to the doctor.

I didn't have Swine Flu, but it doesn't hurt to check. I just had some virus that was gone by this morning. I'm not terribly surprised that I got sick with all the homework stress I have at the moment, but it really couldn't have had been timed any better. It was even a Friday, so I didn't miss (much) class! Except now I can't go to drama. My parents wanted me to come to Tillamook with them instead of staying at the apartment just to make sure I was okay. I've been unintentionally blowing Ryan off all year, and now I feel like a real jerk. We have no stage crew as it is, so with me not there, scene changes will be even more impossibly slow than they already are. >~<;;

So anyway, here I am, in Tillamook, sitting in our almost-empty living room, in the middle of "downtown", playing on the internet. I plan to do at least some homework this weekend, but Emily is an amazingly conpelling distraction. We're gonna watch Firefly tonight.

FYI, all of Tillamook smells like cowpies. I am not a fan. : |

Long time no see, all. I can't believe I haven't updated since around my bday. o.o I've started to seriously hate words, so every time I got on here and thought, "I should update my journal," I'd go do something else cuz I didn't want to bother typing stuff out. That is my flimsy excuse. >>;

I've finally started drawing again. At first it freaked me out cuz I'm so not used to drawing anymore, but it's not so FTW now. It actually started cuz of a Hetalia meme that I decided I was going to do and nothing was going to stop me. It obviously isn't finished yet since I haven't posted it, but it's there. On my desktop. Waiting for me to get my tablet out again. ._. I think drawing and Hetalia are going to be the things that get me through next semester. And Sak and Japan Trip excitement. I wish I could include Bad Taiwanese Dramas in that list, but I won't have any time to watch them. *le sigh*

As far as fandoms go, Hetalia has pretty much taken over, but it's currently fighting for #1 with Smace and my own stories. Stories besides Benji that is. I think I might actually try and give names to the charas in my main stories. Cuz they've been around so long and gotten so much attention in my head, it's about time they get some drawing time and actual names. I'm starting to like some of them almost as much as the Benji charas. Is crazy. o.o

Cosplay's a party as always. Mostly a wig and Rock Band party recently. XD Actually, my wardrobe in general has been a party lately. Got lotsa crazy stuff for Xmas INCLUDING A GIANT ASS ROOSTER SQUISHABLE, but that's not clothing so nevermind. XD

Whatelse, whatelse... Getting into crunch time for Noir, the winter show. My first actually challenging show as Stage Manager. Is scary. >> Been painting random crap in Painting class, like the NaruSasu 2x4. At the moment I'm painting a pic of Miyavi. Is crazy fun liek woah. 8D Been listening to lotsa music. Mostly Does, the Rilzit soundtrack, and now the Smace soundtrack.

I think that's it. All I can think of at the moment at least. Will update later as always prolly. Unless I neglect this place for two months again. |D Poke me on MSN or something if you wanna get in touch with me.

Prolly should've done this a while ago (as in not the night before my bday) but I was busy failing all my classes. I'm not failing anymore now, cuz I dropped them all. Therefore, I am updating! : P

UPDATED BDay list:
1. Battery-powered fold-up speakers for my Zen
2. The Sims2 Free Time Expansion Pack
3. New clothes/random cosplay crap

My parents got me the Ninja Turtle wallet and the Penguin Waffle Maker, so if you got me those, um, sorry? Other than that, the only thing I really really want for my bday is for people to buy candy bars from me to help me pay for the Japan Trip! Seriously, if you give me a dollar for a candy bar, that will be the best gift since it will get me to Japan. Don't feel like you have to get me anything, though. >>

I actually got (and prolly will get) a lot of cool stoof for my bday, but I'll wait til after my bday to actually tell ya'll about it. Not that I'm trying to brag, but some of it (like the penguin waffle maker if it ever comes) really is pretty tight shit.

Oh, if anyone was wondering about a party, I'm not having one. We open for Antigone this weekend and close next weekend and rehears all in between. So my party is basically IHOP night after Opening Night (as in tomorrow night). So if your parents don't mind you staying up til midnight-ish at IHOP with the Sheldon Dramatoids, you should come hang out with us!

Other than that, life is pretty boring. Fandom and Drama filled, but mostly pretty laid back. Except for tomorrow. Tomorrow will be cracktastic. And full of cosplay. Cuz I enjoy cosplaying on mah bday. |3
